Last 26 September 2009…Metro Manila was drowned by Typhoon Ondoy’s rain. In the first hours of the rain I was in my usual jovial self…enjoying the “bed weather” and was craving for some champorado (sweet porridge).
But around 11 am… I noticed that the rain is getting heavier and the waters started rising outside our house. I started sending sms messages to my friends (this i usually do especially when it’s raining)…wishing them well and safe.Then…the unexpected happened…water kept on rising until it entered our house. This is the first time for us.
Luckily, my brother and I were able to transfer our appliances to higher ground…

Sad to say…my piano was damaged…
Material things can be replaced…what’s important is that no lives were lost. We are all well and safe now.
This picture was taken in Quezon while island hopping in a place it’s name i’ve forgotten…(this post was long overdue…hence-the memory gap)…one of my favorite pics…one of my best vacays ever…good food, good company, nice place.

Ito ang isa sa mga alam kong lutuin…at kinain namin ito bilang tanghalian nung minsang nagkatipontipon kaming magkakaibigan sa bahay ni Paula.
Unang beses ko silang pinagluto at alam kong sanay silang kumain ng masasarap kaya medyo ninerbyos ako nung niluluto ko sha…tagumpay naman dahil nagustuhan nila ang aking luto.
Ang iba kong kaibigan ay nakibahagi din sa pagluluto…si Erika ay nag-prito ng patatas

Masaya ang tanghaliang ito na umabot na halos sa merienda ahahaha chikahan kasi ng chickahan
kitang kita sa aming mga ngiti ang saya nung araw na iyon.
Hanggang sa susunod at marami pang tanghalian, hapunan, merienda, at almusal mga kaibigan!!!!

Mayroon siyang 3 malalawak at malalaking cabinet na totoo namang punong-puno ng kanyang mga kasuotan.
Heto ang isang larawan sa walk-in closet namin sa baba ng bahay…share ko lang din-ang nanay ko ang tawag nya sa mga polo ng kuya ko ay blouse at sa mga toy collectibles nya naman ay manyika ahahahaha

Being a true blue Paulinian…the best definition of love for me was written by Apostle Paul in 1Corinthians:13:4-7.

I grew up knowing these passages by heart. We’ve these scriptures framed and hanged on our wall when I was young. I remember reading the words to practice my diction and reading skills. Everyday I read them aloud and somehow the words grew in me.

Let’s start with one of my all-time favorite Romantic Movie: Love Actually.

Written and directed by Richard Curtis. It talks about love in all aspects…every time I watch this movie, I am always reminded that I am lucky to be loved in more ways than one.
One of my favorite quotes was the introduction narrated by Hugh Grant who plays the role of the Prime Minister:
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere.
